Safety of women matters a lot whether at home, outside the home or working place. It is very true that women in India are given a place of Goddess Lakshmi in the Indian society and to safe that place Congress Party has taken an initiative towards women security in India by giving a golden opportunity to our team (V-Geekers) for developing an android app: ‘INDIRA SHAKTI’.
Does women feel safe in India?
Being in the 21st century, with technology and world so advanced, we still talk about this subject, “Are Women Safe, in India, especially?” With surveys and understandings of what is happening around us, it is time that the country joins hands together to realize that – ‘Women are NOT SAFE in any means in India’. But Does that means women are weak or they can’t fight back? The answer to this is a BIG NO. Women have been advancing, progressing and have proved that they can beat men in any sector they are in. Be it sports, arts, science, politics, service or for that matter anywhere, she has stood at par with what a man could do. Yet, she still fights for her secure future.
With the same perspective can we again raise a question that Does Women’s have any weapon to fight back?
Of course! Women’s have many weapons to fight back including self-defence and their instincts but this is not enough. However, now women’s have an amazing android app, worldwide known as the ‘INDIRA SHAKTI’ named after the late honourable INDIRA GANDHI, a symbol of a powerful ( Shakti ) women.
Why to use ‘INDIRA SHAKTI’ app?
Indira Shakti android app comes with two main features that certainly makes it one of the most useful app for women’s security and these features are as follows :-
- Indira Shakti android app allows women to save the most valuable 4 numbers from their contact list which would be necessarily in use of emergency.
- This can be easily done by pressing the POWER BUTTON, 4-5 times or by tapping on SOS BUTTON in the app that would result in a phone call to the first fitted number and an SMS will be provided with its current location to all the numbers, and with this, women in danger will get help as soon as possible.
